PHOTOGRAPHERS AND ARTIST BIO:

CHRISTOPHER WILSON PHOTOGRAPHER

Photographer Christopher Wilson was born in a small town in the State of Connecticut. Christophers family moved throw out his childhood. With this constant change in surroundings, Christopher developed an eye for detail and capturing missed moments in life. His eye for detail and love of travel has remained with him through life's journey. "Traveling to different areas gave me an opportunity to experience a variety of places and people of different cultures and ethnic backgrounds. It has always been my goal to capture and focus the importance these moments of my life and others," says Wilson.

"I have always had a passion for photography. When I was a child I gravitated to photo albums, magazines and books focusing on photography. Many of my inspirations came from Life magazine and National Geographic magazine. With its technical expertise and creative vision, I absorbed life and nature's beauty. As a result of my admiration for capturing life through the camera lens, I was truly inspired to become part of this creative force. This need and passion to be involved in a creative experience was the conception of a photographer," according to Wilson.

Christopher was influenced and inspired by such greats as Ansel Adams, Diane Arbus, Annie Leibovitz and Steven McCurry. "With his heightened contrast, Ansel Adams' black and white photography created sharp details in his dramatic photographs," according to Wilson. "Diane Arbus possesses a uniquely documentary eye, and daring choice of subject matter. Annie Leibovitz creates new worlds with her dramatic, soul touching and humors photography. Steven McCurry has produced powerful colorful photography, capturing the essence of the human condition," adds Wilson.

Most recently, Christopher was inspired by local photographer Perri Hart. While attending one of her shows, he felt the passion for photography once again. " I will always be grateful to Perri and fellow photographer Cindy Cifone for thier advice, kindness, and support," says Wilson.
